At The Villas, your health and wellbeing have always been a priority, sitting side by side with our goal of making your holiday experience simply unforgettable in every possible way.

With the impact of Covid 19 being felt across the globe, the priorities around your well being have been brought into sharper focus requiring our increased attention to that which we’ve always done. That is adherence to high measures of health and safety including hand washing hygiene, cleaning and disinfecting procedures to guest and common areas, the use of quality cleaning products, and on-going assessment of the work undertaken by our dedicated and highly experienced service teams. They have always been highly valued but even more so now.
 
We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting to all areas across the entire property as well as implementing even stricter hand hygiene policies for our team members.  
 
The Villas Team continues to follow the guidelines of the Australian Department of Health and the World Health Organisation as a result of this outbreak, and are well briefed and trained in how to manage a COVID-19 event.  
 
Our commitment to you is to ensure that every possible safety measure is in place to ensure your stay with us sees you benefit from all that a luxury holiday at The Villas of Byron can deliver.

In the interim we will be closely monitoring the daily guidance being issued by our own State and Federal instrumentalities as well as the World Health Organisation and will continue to educate our teams accordingly in matters which include:

  • HAND HYGIENE: PROPER AND FREQUENT HANDWASHING TO HELP COMBAT THE SPREAD OF VIRUSES. WE ALL KNOW CLEANLINESS STARTS WITH THIS ONE SIMPLE ACT AND IS OF VITAL IMPORTANCE FOR THE HEALTH OF OUR EMPLOYEES AND THAT OF OUR GUESTS.

  • GUEST ROOMS: WE USE CLEANING AND DISINFECTING PROTOCOLS TO CLEAN ROOMS AFTER GUESTS DEPART AND BEFORE THE NEXT GUEST ARRIVES, WITH SPECIAL ATTENTION PAID TO HIGH-TOUCH ITEMS. WE ARE ALSO BEING EXTRA SENSITIVE TO GUESTS WHO DO NOT WANT HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE DURING THEIR STAY.

  • PUBLIC SPACES: WE HAVE INCREASED THE FREQUENCY OF CLEANING AND DISINFECTING IN PUBLIC SPACES, WITH A FOCUS ON THE COUNTER AT THE FRONT DESK, DOOR HANDLES, PUBLIC BATHROOMS AND EVEN ROOM KEYS. NO SURFACE IS LEFT UNCLEANED.

  • BACK OF HOUSE: IN THE SPACES WHERE TEAM MEMBERS WORK “BEHIND THE SCENES,” WE ARE INCREASING THE FREQUENCY OF CLEANING AND FOCUSING ON HIGH-TOUCH AREAS LIKE ASSOCIATE ENTRANCES
