What’s On: Splendour in the Grass

It’s that time of year when Byron Bay comes alive for Splendour in the Grass. The beloved musical shindig will again take place at North Byron Parklands, and feature a star-studded lineup of international and Australian acts.

The XX will close out the Amphitheatre on Friday, following mammoth sets from Haim and Peking Duk who have replaced UK artist George Ezra, because he’s pulled out of the festival. It’s all about riffs on Saturday night with headliners Queens Of The Stone Age on stage after Royal Blood and Catfish And The Bottlemen. The festival closes with the long-awaited return of the reunited LCD Soundsystem.

Download all playing times from the Splendour In The Grass website and while you’re there you can also grab the event map.

If you can’t make the event Triple J has got you covered as it brings Splendour to the airwaves with exclusive live sets, interviews, backstage goss, music news, and special coverage as it happens across the whole weekend.
