On the first Sunday of every month Byron Bay Markets are held at the Butler Street Reserve. These markets have been operating for years and are one of the very best in the region. Everything from handmade wares to locally grown produce and artwork of every kind is sold at these markets. They are one of the things that visitors keep coming back for, there are just no other markets like it in Australia!
Arrive early to beat the heat and allow yourself a good few hours to stroll around and take everything in, grab a bite to eat, listen to the live music and then return to your favourite stalls to snap up what ever it was that you had your eye on…and there will be something! This market covers several acres and offers such a vast array of artisian produce and hand crafted trinkets that it is almost impossible to leave empty handed!
The next one is on this coming Sunday 2nd October and the timing couldn’t be more perfect with it being a long weekend in NSW, so if you are in or near Byron Bay this weekend get on down to the markets and pick yourself up something a little special!
