What’s On: Byron Bay Fine Food & Beverage Festival

The inaugural Byron Bay Fine Food & Beverage Festival will be held on Saturday 3 June 2017 in the grounds of Byron Bay resort, Elements of Byron. The event is heralded to become one of Australia’s leading foodie events with many of the region’s esteemed chefs taking part in the gastronomy gala.

The all-day Saturday event promises to be a unique experience with Australian boutique wineries, unique craft beer, cider and distillers, the best local chefs and Australian producers putting on complimentary food and beverage masterclasses set to the backdrop of live music. Tickets are just $22.00.

Niel Perry has been announced as guest chef for the event’s ‘Mixed Dozen’ dinner on Friday the 2 June. He will be joined by eleven of the region’s best chefs in the Elements of Byron kitchen, including Ben Devlin of Paper Daisy, Steven Snow of Fins, Bret Cameron from Harvest, Darren Robertson and Mark Labrooy from Three Blue Ducks. Plus Sarah Swan from 100 Mile Table, Simon Jones from Elements of Byron, Sean Connelly of The Balcony Bar and Oyster Co, Katrina and Karl Kanetani from TOWN Restaurant and Cafe, Gavin Hughes from Byron at Byron Resort, Carlo Magnabosco from Beach Byron Bay and Monique Guterres from Seaweed Cuisine.
